www.activistnetwork.org.uk - UK based, non profit making organisation that seeks to promote the values of peace, equality and social justice. Essentially a radical search engine for activists. Check out the directory and events diary and get involved!!! Activism is a must if we are to salvage democracy.

www.schnews.org.uk - Independent UK site, offering non-corporate news, information for action and reports from the activist frontlines. Check out 'Party & Protest' and get involved!!

www.climatecamp.org.uk - Annual week long camp of action, workshops and sustainable living, sited at Drax coal-fired powered station in 2006 and the site of the new runway at Heathrow in 2006, it's impact was significant. Join up with others in your area and take action!

www.wdm.org.uk - World Development Movement, is a democratic movement of individual supporters, campaigners and local groups. It aims to tackle the underlying causes of poverty. By lobbying decision makers to change the policies that keep people poor, researching and promoting positive alternatives, and working alongside people in the developing world who are standing up to injustice.

www.tjm.org.uk - Trade Justice Movement, is a fast growing group of organisations including aid agencies, environment and human rights campaigns, fairtrade organisations, faith and consumer groups. Together they are campaigning for trade justice.

www.taxjustice.net - Tax Justice Network (TJN), is a non-aligned coalition of researchers and activists with a shared concern about the harmful impacts of tax avoidance and tax havens.

www.ifg.org - International Forum on Globalisation, representing over 60 organizations in 25 countries, the IFG seeks to expose economic globalization, stimulate debate, and reverse the globalisation process.

www.stopwar.org.uk - Stop the War, massive and broad ranging organisation made up of many local and regional groups, against the 'War on Terror', the Afghan and Iraqi wars, the racist backlash and attack on civil liberties. Look up the local groups in your area and get involved!!

www.peopleandplanet.org - People and Planet, a UK student campaigning organisation working to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment. If you're a student, this is a must! Get involved!

www.maketradefair.com - Make Trade Fair, from Oxfam, worldwide campaign for fair trade, full of news, ideas, events and background on the world trade system

www.no2id.net - NO2ID is a campaigning organisation opposed to the government's planned ID card and the National Identity Register.

www.defy-id.org.uk - Defy-ID is an adhoc network of groups and individuals prepared for active resistance to increasing state surveillance and the introduction of ID cards. There are local groups with which to get involved.

It is vital we oppose ID cards, they severely attack our civil liberties and put to much power in the hands of the state, they'll cost a ridiculous amount of tax payers money and they'll have no impact on the spinned reasons for having them. This is URGENT get involved!

www.dsei.org - Disarm DSEi, UK based anti arms trade campaign containing information on anti-arms trade events and local groups.

www.arcuk.org - Arms Reduction Coalition, campaign to implement Article 26 of the UN Charter by transferring resources from arms to programmes that help the earth and its inhabitants.

www.radicalactivist.net - London based activist network, largely drawn from the movements against war, racism and corporate globalisation. Another politics is possible.

www.filmmakersagainstwar.org - Filmmakers Against War, seeks to educate and raise awareness of UK and international war law and its violations. Some great clips to view.
